Underwater limited impact Phase II studies of Rhode Island site RI 2394, a submerged shipwreck in Newport’s outer harbor, were completed between August 25, 2019 and February 9, 2020. These studies are part of the Rhode Island Marine Archaeology Project's (RIMAP) long term and ongoing research of a fleet of thirteen British vessels scuttled in 1778 and associated with the Revolutionary War in America.
